Our Story
Trueline Auto Works has been a fixture on Ironworks Road since 1987 — long enough to have fixed some of these cars twice, for two different owners.
Ray Kovac opened Trueline with two bays, a borrowed alignment rack, and a simple promise: tell the customer the truth, then earn the work. He'd learned the trade in the Army and finished it on the floor of a dealership he eventually got tired of watching upsell people who didn't know better.
His son Danny grew up doing oil changes for gas money and never really left. He took over the shop in 2011, added four bays and a second lift, and kept the one rule that mattered: if it doesn't need fixing, we don't fix it — we just tell you what to watch.
That's still how Trueline runs today. Same address, same standard, a team that's grown but never outgrown the idea that a repair shop should earn trust one honest invoice at a time.
How We Work
We find the actual cause before we quote a fix. Guessing costs you money twice.
Worn parts come out where you can see them. You approve what you understand.
OE-spec parts and factory procedures, so it stays fixed — and stays warrantied.
The Team
Small enough that you'll know their names. Experienced enough that they've probably seen your exact problem before.

Ray's son, and the guy who's touched nearly every car that's come through the door since 2005. ASE Master Certified.

Ten years chasing down electrical gremlins and drivability faults nobody else could pin down. The one you want on a weird noise.

Came up through the shop's apprenticeship program and never left. Fast, careful, and particular about a clean bay.
